This is the original H1-based Max with USB-C, introduced in 2024. Max 2 uses H2 chips and adds Adaptive Audio and Conversation Awareness.

The Smart Case is for storage and low-power mode. It does not recharge the headphones like an AirPods earbud charging case.

Basic Bluetooth listening works with compatible Apple and non-Apple devices. Advanced features require supported hardware, software, services and regions. Update your Apple device software and check the manufacturer's requirements for features important to you.

Delivery and returns

Free Standard delivery: estimated 7–10 calendar days. Express: $10.99 USD, estimated 4–7 calendar days. Both estimates include 1 day of order preparation.
